Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: 18 to 23 years (as on 01/08/2016)
Education Qualification
- For skilled trades (Barber, Boot Maker, Cook, Painter, Mali, Washer Man): Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board or university. Industrial Training Institute trained personnel will be preferred.
- For unskilled trades (Sweeper): Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
- Educational certificates other than State Board/Central Board should be accompanied with Government of India notifications declaring such qualification as equivalent to Matric/10th class pass for service under Central Government.
Pay Scale and Application Fee
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000/-
Application Fee: Rs.50/- for OBC candidates only in the form of Postal Order drawn in favour of the respective officers where to be applied.

Recruitment Scheme
The selection process includes the following stages:
- Eligibility Test: Verification of age, educational qualification, height, chest etc. from original certificates
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): One mile race to be completed in 6 Minutes 30 Seconds
- Trade Test: Details available in official notification
- Preparation of Merit List: Category-wise and post-wise merit list based on trade test marks
- Medical Examination: Detailed medical examination for selected candidates
Note: Ex-Servicemen are exempted from Physical Efficiency Test.
