East Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2018

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th class or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. Additionally, ITI in the relevant trade is required (National Trade Certificate or Provisional Certificate from National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training).
- Age Limit: Candidates should have completed 15 years and not completed 24 years as of 30th January 2018.
- Application Fee: Rs. 100/- (Non-refundable). Payment must be made online through the payment gateway during the application process.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on a merit list prepared for each division. The merit list calculates the average percentage of marks obtained in both 10th examination (minimum 50% aggregate) and ITI examination, giving equal weightage to both.
For candidates with equal marks, preference will be given to the older candidate. If dates of birth are also the same, the candidate who passed the matriculation exam earlier will be considered first.
Finally selected candidates must undergo verification of original documents and medical examination.
