Air India Cabin Crew Recruitment 2018
Air India has released an official notification for recruiting 500 Cabin Crew members. The recruitment drive covers positions in both Northern Region (Delhi) and Western Region (Mumbai).

Eligibility Criteria
Education: Candidates must have completed 10+2 from a Government recognized Board or University.
- Age Limit: 18 to 35 years
- Age Relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates
Experience: Must be currently working as Cabin Crew in a scheduled airline with minimum one year of experience. Must possess a valid SEP for Airbus or Boeing family aircraft as of the application submission date.
Physical & Medical Standards
Height Requirements:
- Female: Minimum 160 cms
- Male: Minimum 172 cms
- Relaxation: 2.5 cms for SC/ST candidates and those from North East states and hilly states (subject to domicile proof/Caste Certificate)
BMI (Body Mass Index): As specified in CAR issued by DGCA
- Female: Between 18 to 22
- Male: Between 18 to 25
- Formula: Weight in Kgs / (Height in meters × Height in meters)
Vision Requirements:
- Near Vision: N/5 in better eye and N/6 in worst eye
- Distant Vision: 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in another eye
- Spectacles not allowed
- Contact lenses up to +2D permitted
- Note: Candidates who have undergone Lasik surgery will be considered if surgery was done prior to six months from the last date of submission of online application (12.03.2018)
Other Requirements:
- Color Vision: Normal on Ishihara/Tokyo Medical College (TMC) Chart
- Speech: Clear speech, no stammering or lisping. Command of English/Hindi language with clear understandable accent
- Language: Fluency in English and Hindi
Selection Process
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria must register online. Eligible candidates will appear for medical examination regarding Height and BMI at the Test Center in the morning. Those declared eligible on medical parameters will then appear for a Written Test scheduled for 18.03.2018. Time and venue details will be communicated later.

Application Fee
A non-refundable Demand Draft for Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) in favor of AIR INDIA LIMITED, payable at Delhi/Mumbai (as per region applied for). The Demand Draft will not be returned if a candidate does not meet the medical eligibility criteria and is declared ‘UNFIT’.
