NIACL Assistant Main Exam 2018 Call Letter Out
New India Assurance Company Ltd (NIACL) has officially released the call letter notification for the Assistants (Class III) Main Examination, 2018. Candidates can now download their admit cards by visiting the official link.

Exam Structure and Syllabus
The Main Examination will be an online objective test with the following structure:
- Test of Reasoning: 40 Questions & 50 Marks
- Test of English Language: 40 Questions & 50 Marks
- Test of General Awareness: 40 Questions & 50 Marks
- Computer Knowledge: 40 Questions & 50 Marks
- Test of Numerical Ability: 40 Questions & 50 Marks
- Total: 200 Questions & 250 Marks
- Duration: 120 minutes
The total marks obtained will be proportionately reduced to a base of 35 marks. The questions in objective tests, except for English Language, will be available in both English and Hindi.
Selection Process
Candidates must obtain a minimum total score as decided by the Company in the main examination. Those who qualify will be shortlisted for a Regional Language Test, which is only qualifying in nature with no separate marks awarded.
Final selection will be based on performance in the online Main examination, subject to qualifying the Regional Language Test. Merely meeting eligibility criteria doesn’t guarantee selection for the examination.
In case of equal marks scored by two or more candidates at the bottom of the merit list, the candidate senior in age will be shortlisted for further recruitment processes.
