Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Doctorate degree (PhD) in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Data Science and Big Data, Finance or Economics from an Indian University recognized by Government bodies/AICTE or a similar Foreign University/Institute.
Desirable qualifications include a full-time diploma in Data Science, Data Analytics or Data Statistics from a recognized Indian University or similar foreign institution.
Experience Requirements
As of May 1, 2019, candidates need at least fifteen years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Science or Statistics/Econometrics. This experience can be gained in commercial banks, large financial companies, financial services organizations, or large IT services companies with financial domain.
Alternatively, candidates with fifteen years of experience in Academics and Research in a reputed University in Finance, Banking or Monetary Policy are eligible. The experience should include:
- Integrating various data sources, methods and applications
- Implementing statistical or machine learning methods from basic to complex
- Proficiency in Python or R, SQL and distributed computing systems like Hadoop
- Experience with statistical methodologies including regression analysis, cluster analysis, CHAID, time series, survival models
- Using data visualization tools like Qlik and Tableau
Age Limit
Candidates should not be more than 57 years old.
