- Pay Scale: Rs. 9300 – 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4200
- Sub-Inspector (SI) (Engine Driver): 09 posts
- Educational qualification: 10+2 or equivalent from recognized Board or University and 1st class Engine Driver Certificate from Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department
- Age Limit: 22 to 28 years

- Head Constable (HC) (Master): 62 posts
- Educational qualification: Matriculation from recognized board or equivalent. Serang Certificate
- Age Limit: 20 to 25 years
- Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2400
- Head Constable (HC) (Engine Driver): 65 posts
- Educational qualification: Matriculation from recognized board or equivalent. 2nd class Engine Driver Certificate
- Age Limit: 20 to 25 years
- Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 – 20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2400
- Head Constable (HC) (Workshop): 01 post
- Educational qualification: Matriculation from recognized board or equivalent. ITI Diploma from recognized Institution
- Age Limit: 20 to 25 years
- Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2400
- Constable (CT) (Crew): 32 posts
- Educational qualification: Matriculation from recognized board or equivalent. 1 year experience in operating Boat below 265 HP. Should know swimming with certificate from recognized Institute/swimming pool/any authority
- Age Limit: 20 to 25 years
- Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2000
Selection Process
Final selection will be based on documentation verification, Physical Standards Test (PST)/Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Trade Test, and Medical Examination.
