Northeast Frontier Railway 4499 Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2020
Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) is calling for applications from eligible candidates for 4499 Trade Apprentice positions. These apprenticeships will be conducted under the Apprentices Act 1961 across various workshops and units in NFR jurisdiction.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed 10th class examination or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board. Additionally, they need to possess National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training.
Upload copies of mark sheets and pass certificates of matriculation (10th std), provisional certificate/National trade certificate (NTC) certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT in case of ITI, and ITI Final Mark-Sheet. Mere completion of course is not sufficient. Candidates should have already passed the prescribed qualification on the date of issue of notification.
Age Limit
Candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 01.01.2020.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only), which is non-refundable.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on merit list prepared trade-wise, unit-wise, and community-wise. The merit list in each unit will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade for which Apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be based on the average of marks in matriculation and ITI.
