RTE Gujarat Admission 2021-22
The Gujarat Education Department has published an official notification for RTE Admission (Right To Education) for the academic year 2021-22. This admission is available for granted private primary schools across the state.
How to Apply
Eligible students can apply for RTE Admission at the Government’s official portal https://rte.orpgujarat.com within 5th July, 2021. The application process is completely online and requires careful attention to eligibility criteria and documentation.
Required Documents for RTE Admission
Applicants must prepare the following documents in advance:
- Birth Certificate – Original birth certificate, school leaving certificate, or any other valid proof showing date of birth. The birth certificate should be issued by the municipal corporation or gram panchayat. If birth certificate is not available, school leaving certificate or any other valid proof can be submitted.
- School Leaving Certificate – Original school leaving certificate.
- Transfer Certificate – Original transfer certificate.
- Aadhar Card – Original aadhar card.
- BPL Certificate – Original BPL certificate issued by the municipal corporation or gram panchayat.
- Caste Certificate – Original caste certificate.
- Income Certificate – Original income certificate issued by the competent authority.
- Residence Certificate – Original residence certificate.
- Passport Size Photograph – Recent passport size photograph.
- Death Certificate – Original death certificate of parent if applicable.
Important Dates
The last date for submitting applications is 5th July, 2021. Students are advised to complete their applications well before the deadline to avoid any technical issues.
Eligibility Criteria
Students must meet the following criteria to be eligible for RTE admission:
- Age: 6+ years as of 1st June 2021
- Residence: Must be a resident of Gujarat
- Income: Family annual income should not exceed Rs. 2,00,000
- Category: Students from economically weaker sections and disadvantaged groups
Selection Process
The selection process involves a lottery system based on the number of applications received. Students will be selected randomly and notified through the official portal.
