National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) is calling for online applications from Indian citizens for the post of Chief Economist. This recruitment drive aims to fill 150 Group A posts in the Rural Development Banking Service (RDBS).

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Post-graduate degree from a recognized Indian/Foreign University with 60% or more marks
- Ph.D or equivalent degree with research topic relevant to NABARD’s functioning areas
- Published research papers in accredited/reputed journals
- Ph.D/Equivalent degree from eminent institutions including IIMs, IITs, DSE, TISS, ISI, IRMA, ISB, IARI, IVRI, Central Universities
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience as Economist in reputed institutions such as Banks/Financial Institutions/Reputed Corporates/Rating agencies or Teaching and Research experience in academic institutions

Age Limit
Candidates must be between 45 and 62 years as on 01 September 2023
Application Fee
- For all others: Rs. 800/- (exclusive of applicable GST)
- SC/ST/PWD/EWS/Ex-Servicemen: Rs. 50/-
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through an interview process.
