Indian Oil Corporation of India (IOCL) has officially released the recruitment notification for 2023. The organization is looking to fill 1720 vacancies for Technician Apprentices and Trade Apprentices posts through this recruitment drive.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet the following educational requirements:
- Class XII, Graduate, or Diploma holders should have completed their education from a recognized Board/University/Institute as a regular full-time course in the relevant trade/discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and PwBD category candidates for reserved seats) in aggregate.
- For examinations where CGPA/OGPA or Letter Grade is awarded, candidates must indicate the equivalent aggregate percentage of marks as per the norms adopted by their Board/University/Institute. A certificate from the concerned institution regarding the equivalent percentage must be provided during document verification.
- For ITI qualifications, candidates must have pass marks. Only regular full-time ITI courses recognized by NCVT/SCVT will be considered.
- Only Diploma/Graduation/ITI in the specified branches/subjects against respective Trade/Discipline will be considered eligible. Other qualifications will not be accepted.
Age Limit
The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 24 years as on 31st October 2023 for General/EWS candidates.
Selection Process
The selection process is straightforward:
- Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the Written Test (duration: two hours) and meeting the eligibility criteria.
- In case of a tie in written test marks, the candidate’s date of birth (senior by age) will be considered to determine the merit list rank.
