Bank of Baroda Recruitment 2013 – 90 Specialist Officer Vacancies
Bank of Baroda, headquartered at Baroda Corporate Centre in Mumbai, has released a notification for 90 Specialist Officer positions. Eligible candidates can apply online from January 28 to February 9, 2013. Here’s everything you need to know about the recruitment process.
Vacancy Details
The bank is hiring for the following positions:
- Officer (Planning)-JMG/S I: 40 Posts
- Manager (Planning) – MMG/S II: 05 Posts
- Manager (Risk Management) – MMG/S II: 05 Posts
- Manager (Treasury) – MMG/S II: 10 Posts
- Manager (Security) – MMG/S II: 30 Posts
Age Criteria
For the Officer (Planning) position, candidates must be between 21 and 28 years old as of February 9, 2013. All other posts require candidates to be between 21 and 37 years old as of the same date. Age relaxation is available as per government rules.
Educational Qualifications
Different positions require different qualifications:
- Posts 1 & 2: PG in Economics/Statistics
- Post 3: PG in Risk Management/Statistics/Economics/Financial Engineering
- Post 4: Masters Degree in Finance/Banking/Treasury/International
- Post 5: Graduate Degree with minimum 5 years experience as an Officer not below the rank of Captain in Indian Army or equivalent rank in Indian Navy/Air Force OR not below the rank of Asst. SP/Dy. SP/Asst. Comdt./Dy. Comdt. of Indian Police/Para Military Forces with minimum 5 years service
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs.500/- for General/OBC/Ex-servicemen candidates and Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. You can pay online using Master/Visa Debit or Credit Card, or offline at any Bank of Baroda branch. For offline payment, deposit the fee in Account No 29040200000289 at Bandra Kurla Complex Branch, Mumbai, in favor of Bank of Baroda ‘Recruitment Of -90- Specialist Officers -Project 2013’.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on Written test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview.

- Obtain the Counterfoil of the Fee Payment Challan with Branch Name & Code Number, Transaction ID, Date of Deposit & Amount
- Scan your photograph and signature
- Re-visit the website and click on ‘Online Application For Bank of Baroda Specialist Officers’ Recruitment Project-2013′
- Fill all details in the application form and upload photo & signature
- Submit the application
You can modify your online application after 2 days of registration until February 11, 2013.
