Educational Qualification
Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:
- Trade Certificate under NCVT from any ITI under Directorate of Industrial Training, Govt. of West Bengal in Electronic-Mechanic / Wireman / Electrician (Total 2 years’ duration)
- Trade Certificate under NCVT from any ITI under Directorate of Industrial Training, Govt. of West Bengal in Broad Based Basic Training (BBBT) & Advanced / Specialized Module in the Electrical Sector (Total 2 years’ duration)
- National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) awarded by Ministry of Labour and Empowerment, Government of India, in the trade (Total 3 years’ duration): Electronic Mechanic / Wireman / Electrician
Age Limit
Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 01/01/2015
Application Fee
Rs. 250/- should be deposited in any branch of United Bank of India through a triplicate Bank Challan. Application Fees will have to be deposited during banking hours. SC, ST and Physically Handicapped Candidates are exempted from paying this fee.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on Written Test and Interview (Viva-Voce)
How to Apply
ITI Holders have to Apply Online through WBSEDCL Registration System. After applying online, candidates are required to print out system generated Registration Slip with unique Application Number. Hard copy of Online Application form along with required WBSEDCL’s Copy of CHALLAN and all credentials duly self-attested and super-scribing at the top of the envelop post applied for has to be sent by ordinary post at given below address.
