Gujarat High Court Recruitment 2016: 112 Civil Judge Positions Open

The High Court is hiring 112 Civil Judges across various positions.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
- Possess a Law degree from a recognized Indian university and be practicing as an Advocate in Civil or Criminal Courts on the application deadline
- Have at least 5 years of experience working in Courts or Allied Departments with a Law (Special) degree
- Hold a Computer Application/Operation certificate from a Government or recognized Institute as per Gujarat Government resolutions
Age Limit
The age requirements are:
- 35 years for General category
- 38 years for SC/ST/SEBC/Orthopedically Disabled/Ex-Servicemen
- 40 years for Staff of Courts & Allied Departments
Application Fee
The fee structure is as follows:
- Rs. 500/- plus bank charges for General candidates
- Rs. 250/- plus bank charges for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Disabled/Ex-servicemen
Payments must be made to State Bank of India, High Court Complex Branch, Ahmedabad (Account No. 30725811785) in the name of Registrar General, High Court of Gujarat, Sola, Ahmedabad.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will receive a salary of Rs. 27,700/- to Rs. 44,850/- plus allowances.
Selection Process
The selection will be conducted in three stages:
- Elimination Test
- Main Written Examination (Descriptive Type)
- Viva-voce (Oral Interview)
