GNLU Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Associate Professor of Law:
- Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
- A Master’s Degree in Law with at least 55% marks from any recognized University.
- A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research.
- Contribution to educational innovation with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates.
- A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Appraisal System (PBAS) of UGC.
- Assistant Professor of Law:
- Good academic record with at least 55% marks at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject.
- Minimum four years’ experience as an Assistant Professor with Ph.D. Degree.
- OR Minimum five years’ experience with M.Phil. degree.
- OR Minimum six years’ experience with Master degree with NET/SET/SLET.
- Assistant Professor of Science & Technology:
- Good academic record with at least 55% marks at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject.
- Minimum four years’ experience as an Assistant Professor with Ph.D. Degree.
- OR Minimum five years’ experience with M.Phil. degree.
- OR Minimum six years’ experience with Master degree with NET/SET/SLET.
- Assistant Librarian:
- M. L.I.Sc from a recognized university.
- Eight years’ experience in relevant field preferably in educational institution.
- ICT System Manager:
- M.C.A / M. Sc in Computer Sciences/Computer Application/Information Technology.
- Eight years’ experience in relevant field preferably in educational institution.
- Assistant Director of Physical Education & Sports:
- M. P. Ed from a recognized university.
- Eight years’ experience in relevant field preferably in educational institution.
Application Fees
For each Post:
- Teaching posts: Rs. 1000 for candidates from unreserved category and Rs. 700 for candidates from Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently-abled categories.
- Non Teaching posts: Rs. 500 for candidates from unreserved category and Rs. 300 for candidates from Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently-abled categories.
Fees shall be paid either in cash at the University or through Demand Draft drawn in favor of Gujarat National Law University payable at Ahmedabad. No other mode of fees payment shall be accepted.
