Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th class from a recognized Board/University.
Age Limit
The age should be between 18 to 23 years.
Selection Process
The selection will happen in three stages:
- Computer Based Examination
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
Computer Based Examination Details
The written exam carries 100 marks and lasts 90 minutes. It includes four sections:
- Part A: General Intelligence and Reasoning (25 questions, 25 marks)
- Part B: General Knowledge and General Awareness (25 questions, 25 marks)
- Part C: Elementary Mathematics (25 questions, 25 marks)
- Part D: English/Hindi (25 questions, 25 marks)
Syllabus Overview
- General Intelligence & Reasoning: Non-verbal questions including analogies, spatial visualization, coding-decoding, arithmetical reasoning
- General Knowledge: Current events, sports, history, culture, geography, economic scene, Indian constitution, scientific research
- Elementary Mathematics: Number systems, computation, percentages, ratios, averages, interest, profit-loss, mensuration, time-distance
- English/Hindi: Basic comprehension skills
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates must meet physical standards to proceed:
- Race Requirements:
- Male: 5 Kms in 24 minutes
- Female: 1.6 Kms in 8.5 minutes
- Ladakh Region Male: 1 Mile in 6.5 minutes
- Ladakh Region Female: 800 meters in 4 minutes
- Height Requirements:
- Male: 170 Cms
- Female: 157 Cms
- Chest Requirements:
- General, SC & OBC: 80/5
- ST: 76/5
- Weight: Must be proportionate to height and age
Physical Standard Test (PST)
After clearing PET, candidates must meet these physical standards for final selection.

Application Fee Payment
Candidates must pay Rs. 100/- through online mode (Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card) or offline mode by generating a challan. SC/ST/PWD category candidates are exempted from the fee.
